21 November 2016 / Categories: News Pembrokeshire County Council choose CM2000’s technology solutions to support homecare delivery Pembrokeshire County Council is one of the first Councils in Wales to roll-out a standard system for monitoring the quality and efficiency of their homecare services delivered by independent Providers. Following a competitive tender process, the Council chose CM2000’s CallConfirmLive! which is widely used in England and Scotland to improve the transparency and accountability of homecare services. The Council is set to benefit from comprehensive management information which will enable processes to be improved, better data transfer and reduction in payment turn-around times. More importantly, the use of CallConfirmLive! to record care visits in real-time will identify over or under delivery, allowing the Council to be more responsive to changes in customer needs. Cllr Simon Hancock, Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Health and Well-Being and Equalities for Pembrokeshire County Council said: “CM2000 will allow the Council to monitor services delivered by a wide range of Domiciliary Care providers, enabling the Council to monitor quality indicators such as punctuality, duration of visit and care worker continuity that will provide visibility on service delivery for vulnerable older people. At the same time it will ensure more effective and transparent payments to providers.” CM2000 have over 16 years’ experience of implementing CallConfirmLive! They believe the model chosen by Pembrokeshire gives the Council the greatest quality control due to its complete over-arching view of care delivery. It also offers Service Users the best possible protection from missed or late visits and ensures the Council has accurate, real-time data about Provider performance to enhance quality control.
